Coach Means is now coaching Offensive Line with the JV program. Coach Means has coached football at Chesapeake 2005-2017, 2019-present (18 seasons). Over the course of 6 seasons (2015-2017, 2020-present), Coach Means guided the JV Football program to a 43-12 record. Coach Means also served as an Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Chesapeake 2007-2021. Since 2003, Coach Means has taught in the Social Studies Department at Chesapeake High School. Coach Means has also coached Softball, Baseball, Track and Field, Tennis and Wrestling during his career in AACPS. Coach Means is now in his thirteenth year as a coach at Chesapeake High School.  Coach Means is an assistant football and assistant lacrosse coach at Chesapeake.  Prior to coming to CHS, Coach Means coached in the Broadneck, North County, and Arundel athletic programs from 1990-2005.  Coach Means is a graduate of Severna Park High School, and the University of Maryland system.  Coach Means is currently in his fourteenth year of teaching at Chesapeake High School.  He teaches United States History and Maryland History in the Social Studies Department at CHS.  He is currently in his 28th year as a teacher in Anne Arundel County.

Coach Parsons is entering into his fifth season coaching football at Chesapeake High School (2009-Present).  This will mark the second season Coach Parsons has assisted our Varsity Football program.  Prior to that he coached with the Junior Varsity team from 2009-2011. In addition to coaching football, Coach Parsons served as an assistant boys basketball coach for CHS in the late 1980's.  Currently, he also serves as an assistant coach for the girls basketball program at CHS (as an assistant with Coach Jefferies) with the Junior Varsity team.
